Family management in Shaker: designed for all families, and especially for children

In sports clubs, behind every child or teenager, parents, grandparents, or other guardians organize trips, bookings, payments, and communication with the club. Family management is therefore essential in Shaker.

A place for every family

Traditional, separated, blended, or extended families: Shaker adapts to every situation. A child can be linked to multiple people with different roles:

• Parents, even separated
• Spouses and stepparents
• Grandparents
• Head of household
• Other responsible adults (nanny, chaperone...)

Each person has their own profile, connected to the children they care for.

Simplified organization

• Payments and invoicing: the head of household receives invoices and payment requests.
• Automatic reminders: all guardians receive reminders for children's activities.
• Family calendar: children's sessions appear on the guardians' Shaker home screen, where they can confirm or cancel attendance.
• Group chats: parents and teenagers with a phone participate in session-related chats, without including younger children.

Child protection: a priority

These rules create a safer communication environment for young athletes and facilitate exchanges with their guardians:

• No private contact between adults and minors: direct messages are forbidden by default.
• Supervised group chats: at least two adults must be present in a chat that includes minors for them to be able to post.
• Controlled permissions: each club decides whether or not to allow its administrators to directly contact minors.
